Africa is the world’s youngest and fastest-urbanising continent. It is estimated that its population will reach 2 billion by 2050, with 50% of the population being under the age of 25. That means the future of work, the future of our environment, the future of technologies and digitisation, the future of our global economy, the future of health, and the future of sustainable cities is dependent on the role of the youth in African cities.
