Government of Haryana, MG Motor and TRAX are developing a safer culture around schools through road upgrades, research and training involving students, teachers and the community, supported by SR4S.
Award-winning Road Safety NGO TRAX has been advocating for Safe School Zones in India since 2017.
• Improving their safety is one of the main activities of the Road Safety & Juniors Project, targeting high-risk locations around selected schools in Gurugram, Faridabad and New Delhi.
• TRAX is using the SR4S tool to identify the baseline and postimprovement risk of school zones, informing upgrades and education initiatives to save lives and reduce injury.
